Celebrating Our Amazing Volunteers

As part of Volunteers’ Week, the Avon Tennis Trustees would like to extend a huge and heartfelt thank you to all of the incredible volunteers who give their time, energy, and expertise to support Avon Tennis & Padel.

Quite simply, we could not do what we do without you.

From helping to organise and support county teams across every age group—from Under 8s right through to Over 70s—to assisting parents, players, clubs, venues, parks, coaches, and the wider tennis and padel community, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we achieve.

To recognise and celebrate their invaluable contribution, Mandy Stonier (LTA Councillor and Clubs & Venues lead) and Claire Nutt (Awards Lead) organised a special Volunteer Thank You Event on Sunday 7th June at Rocket Padel. Volunteers enjoyed a fantastic evening with a delicious spread of food and refreshments, including some wonderful cakes proudly displaying the Avon Tennis & Padel logo and a game or 2 of Padel.

The event was a small token of our appreciation for the countless hours our volunteers dedicate throughout the year. Their enthusiasm, commitment, and support help create opportunities for players of all ages and abilities and ensure that tennis and padel continue to thrive across Avon.

To every volunteer who contributes their time, whether behind the scenes or on the front line, thank you. Your efforts make a real difference, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.
