A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the Ignite Bristol Multi-Sports Festival 2026!
The festival was a fantastic celebration of inclusive sport across Bristol, and it was your enthusiasm, energy, and willingness to get involved that made the day such a success. It was wonderful to see so many people trying new activities, building confidence, developing skills, and making new friendships throughout the event.
The Avon Tennis team was proud to be part of the festival, introducing young people to tennis in a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Coaches Holly and Helen, alongside Jonny from Access Sport, Claire (our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead), Patrick - who was volunteering as part of his Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award - and Open Court Lead Rachel were all on court throughout the day, inspiring, encouraging, and supporting participants as they picked up a racket and gave tennis a go.
Their passion and dedication helped create a positive experience for everyone who visited the tennis courts, ensuring participants felt welcome, supported, and motivated to get involved.
Thank you once again to everyone who attended, volunteered, coached, and supported the festival. We loved being part of such a positive community event and look forward to seeing many of you on court again soon!
