Avon Ladies win and move up to Division 1

Congratulations to the Avon Ladies Over 60's. The unbeaten Over 60's Women's squad consisted of Jo Francis-Pope (Capt), Carol Smith, Carol Koehli, Jo Cox, Brigid Carr and Sue Lock.

The team only lost 2 rubbers out of the 20 rubbers played, which is a quite an accomplishment. True dedication by the team, to the point that Carol Koehli played an away match against Devon on her birthday, so lots of cake was enjoyed by all.

Captain Jo would like to thank David Lloyd for hosting the home matches, and the Avon Tennis team for all their support. Division 1 looms which includes singles, so it will be a demanding 2024 season
